OBJECTIVE
To be able to fully utilize my skills, background, experience and contacts in business gained in my 34 years in the industry for worthwhile endeavors.
WORK EXPERIENCE
March 2013 to Present:
Jeff sold his previous consulting company, Associated Resources, Inc. in 2012 and semiretired.  He formed Landmen.com, Inc. in 2013 for further oil and gas oriented ventures.
His past experience has included the ownership in and oversight and management of several multi-million dollar business operations in the oil and gas business and assisting in the daily management of many of his past client’s oil and gas assets and activities that due to his work and insight often created very remarkable returns.
He has significant personal experience in mineral exploration land work and production activities including operational oversight, in-house and field land title and leasing work, appraisal work including oil and gas leasehold, mineral rights, surface damages, and all types of right‑of‑way work.  He has personally overseen many projects including production acquisition packages and leasehold projects totaling millions of acres and billions of dollars. 
Jeff is very familiar with all types of legal agreements, document drafting and all types of land work.  He has been an instructor for many of the courses given around the US through the American Association of Professional Landman’s (AAPL) Certified Professional Landmen (CPL) program.  He has been admitted as an expert witness and testified many times in many court systems and legal venues across the country.
January 1983 to March 2013:
 Jeff was a self-employed, independent oil and gas consulting business owner, landman and industry business consultant
From September 1993 and for 19 years he was the owner/manager of Associated Resources, Inc., (ARI). 
ARI is a well-known oil and gas business process outsource service provider and consulting company headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that during his ownership provided services on average for over 50 clients annually, with an average staff of 50 fellow employees plus numerous contractors.  ARI started in 1993, although Jeff had been providing similar services for 28 years with ARI or previous companies he owned or co-owned.
January 1983 to January 1984:
Attended graduate school at Tulsa University, gained one semester toward MBA, 3.0 grade average. He also worked as a full‑time consultant for two Tulsa-based oil companies doing land divestiture and acquisition work.
April 1981 to November 1982:
Land Manager for Aspen Exploration Corporation, Denver, Colorado. One year was spent in Anchorage Alaska as Aspen’s representative and eight months were spent in Denver as land manager. Work and duties involved all phases of landwork.
June 1979 to April 1981:
Landman for Anaconda Copper Company, a division of Atlantic Richfield Company (Arco, now BP).  Stationed in Anchorage, Alaska for one year and Denver Colorado for ten months.  Work and duties included all phases of land work in the Western United States and Canada as well as college recruiting for Arco.
May 1978 to May 1979:
Contract landman for D.A. Bash and Associates, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and I. L. Cook, Bristow, Oklahoma.  Worked full and part‑time through senior year of college as a field oil and gas landman running tile, buying leases and doing Oklahoma Corporation Commission research.
May 1974 to April 1978:
Roughneck for Shebester, Inc., Maysvllle and Norman, Oklahoma.  Worked summers and part-time through college and to pay for all of his college performing various duties in drilling, completion and servicing rigs in central Oklahoma.

1993-1996 served on Certification Committee, Chairman in 1994-95.  Personally wrote first Registered Land Professional (RLP) test.
1996-1999 served on Field Landman Committee.  Personally wrote Field Landman Survey sent out to counties for field landmen nationwide.  Tabulated hundreds of results and wrote Access database to track results therefrom and for publication of AAPL survey results written by Forrest Aven and published in “Landman” Magazine.
1994-1996 served as substitute AAPL Director at various meetings where Tulsa Director was unable to attend.
Have authored articles for AAPL “Landman” magazine (“An Open Letter to Professional Landmen” circa 1997 and 2010, “Technology=A Change in Land Work”
Attended most AAPL and National Conventions and NAPE® shows since 1992
Have taught the CPL course in several locations in the US.

In 1993, I prepared pro-forma income statements to show the TAPL Board the projected results of instituting a “Non-resident” membership category of membership.  Based on the adoption of my recommendation, TAPL added over 100 new members to the organization (33% increase), increased its participation in all social and education events, and lost no money as a result.  In 1993, I organized the first educational lunch seminars in Tulsa.  These luncheons were free to members and were modeled after the Oklahoma City Association’s educational luncheons.
Additionally, I have helped organize and/or have spoken at numerous local and regional land associations (TAPL, NADOA, SADOA, NALTA, TALTA, NARO etc.,) educational seminars.

1993-March 2013 – Built a successful oil and gas business that grossed over $6MM/year in sales
January 10, 2005 – Living through an airplane engine failure and plane wreck (piloting, sole occupant) and after a 42 day-stay in hospital and 16 surgeries, when surgeons commented that if it had been anyone that they had known, they would not have survived, lived to tell about it.  Not only that, but is now back flying again.
